Skoda Superb fuel consumption

Of all Skoda Superb modifications produced from 2002 to 2021 real fuel consumption according to user ratings is approximately 20% higher compared to advertised consumption. For petrol engines real consumption is in average 17% higher, but for diesel engines is approximately 23% higher. Starting from 2002 Skoda Superb average difference between actual owner-reported fuel consumption and stated consumption was less than industry average, at 2015 it was slightly above industry average, at 2016 difference became significantly higher than average and finally at 2020 difference between owner-reported and advertised fuel economy became slightly above industry average.
