Land Rover Range Rover fuel consumption
Of all Land Rover Range Rover modifications produced from 1988 to 2021 real fuel consumption according to user ratings is approximately 15% higher compared to advertised consumption. For petrol engines real consumption is in average 11% higher, but for diesel engines is approximately 20% higher. Starting from 1990 Land Rover Range Rover average difference between actual owner-reported fuel consumption and stated consumption was similar to average, at 1994 it was significantly higher than average, at 2009 difference became less than industry average and finally at 2014 difference between owner-reported and advertised fuel economy became similar to average. Of course, it should be noted that the gap between advertised and actual fuel economy changed quite significantly across the entire automotive industry during this period.
