Volvo S60 fuel consumption

Of all Volvo S60 modifications produced from 2000 to 2021 real fuel consumption according to user ratings is approximately 10% higher compared to advertised consumption. For petrol engines real consumption is in average 7% higher, but for diesel engines is approximately 13% higher. Starting from 2000 Volvo S60 average difference between actual owner-reported fuel consumption and stated consumption was similar to average, at 2004 it was less than industry average, at 2014 difference became similar to average and finally at 2018 difference between owner-reported and advertised fuel economy became less than industry average.
