Of all Nissan Primera modifications produced from 1995 to 2008 real fuel consumption according to user ratings is approximately 9% higher compared to advertised consumption. Starting from 1995 Nissan Primera average difference between actual owner-reported fuel consumption and stated consumption was significantly higher than average, at 2001 it was slightly above industry average, at 2005 difference became similar to average and finally at 2007 difference between owner-reported and advertised fuel economy became less than industry average.
