Hyundai Accent fuel consumption

Of all Hyundai Accent modifications produced from 1999 to 2018 real fuel consumption according to user ratings is approximately 9% higher compared to advertised consumption. For petrol engines real consumption is in average 12% higher, but for diesel engines is approximately 6% higher. Starting from 1999 Hyundai Accent average difference between actual owner-reported fuel consumption and stated consumption was significantly higher than average, at 2004 it was less than industry average, at 2005 difference became slightly above industry average and finally at 2009 difference between owner-reported and advertised fuel economy became similar to average.
